Job Title: Program Director
Center: Kleinburg, ON
Reports To: Area Developer

 
KidStrong Program Directors lead the center, fostering a culture of learning for coaches and families. They are welcoming leaders who define goals and deliver exceptional experiences for kids, families, and team members. Key responsibilities include training coaches, building relationships with families, and achieving business results like sales performance and reducing attrition.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Center Operations

  • Build relationships with families aligned with core values.
  • Manage center initiatives (maintenance, training, brand consistency).
  • Oversee center cleaning and delegate tasks.
  • Handle employee issues and documentation.
  • Understand KPIs and financials for informed decisions.
  • Manage schedules, events, and profitability.
Sales
 
  • Maintain lead management via CRM tools.
  • Drive sales, delegate responsibilities, and finalize bookings.
  • Promote KidStrong at local events to grow memberships.
Leadership
 
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate coaches.
  • Ensure compliance with paperwork and policies.
  • Support ongoing staff development via LearnUpon.
  • Lead team meetings focused on development and performance.
Coaching
 
  • Deliver curriculum for ages 15 months–11 years.
  • Interact positively with students and families.
  • Use the KS Coaches App for data tracking.
  • Conduct 3–5 coaching hours weekly.
Qualifications
 
  • Standard First Aid CPR-C Certified.
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Coach Certification (provided upon hire).
  • Athletic/coaching background with kids aged 15 months–11 years.
  • Management experience required.
Skills
 
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
  • Familiarity with platforms like ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, ADP preferred.
Sphere of Interaction
 
Supervises Assistant Program Director, Lead Coach, and Coaches. Collaborates with team members, families, and KidStrong HQ.

Schedule: 4 weekday shifts (11 AM–7 PM) and 1 weekend shift (8 AM–4 PM).
 
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
