KidStrong is looking for a Design & Development Intern to be responsible for providing test fits and analytic support of potential new centers. This individual directly reports to the Real Estate Manager and primarily supports the Real Estate Team and Area Developers in the field as well as cross-functional stakeholders such as the leadership team.  This role has the opportunity to extend into a full time Coordinator position reporting into the Director of Real Estate & Construction.

Responsibilities: 

  • Formulation of test fits for potential KidStrong sites
  • Review submitted sites from brokers and provide feedback on any missing or unclear information needed for design development
  • Development of signage exhibits
  • Assist Real Estate Manager in assembling deck for Real Estate Committee
  • Track and update changes and improvements to the Design Intent Package

Qualifications: 

  • 2-4 years working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • Interest in fitness, retail, commercial real estate, data analytics, corporate strategy
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop. 
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office/ Google Suite to assist in creating presentation decks
  • Operates in a fast-paced, energetic environment and welcomes change 
Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
