OPEN ROLE & SCHEDULE
- The KidStrong Coach will focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from the evolving monthly curriculum
- The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind KidStrong curriculum.
- Our classes run weekdays 9 am-11:30 am and evenings until 7 pm.*
- On weekends we start at 9 am and run through lunch time.
- There is an opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on the center's needs.
- There is an opportunity to increase scheduled hours through birthday parties, camp, and parents' night out coaching hours.
- This is a year-round position; candidates with summer-only availability will be considered.
*Schedule is subject to change at any time based on member needs.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
- If you are a loud extrovert who loves the spotlight, then this position is meant for you.
- Minimum coaching availability required: two weekday evenings per week (3:30 pm - 7:30 pm) and one weekend day per week (8:30 am - 2:00 pm).
- Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age range is preferred.
- Prior experience speaking to and talking to parents.
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-starter who gets a job done.
- Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required.
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
