At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. KidStrong is a milestone accelerator for kids walking through 11 years old. We help parents discover their child’s superpowers and build future-ready kids who are confident in making friends, running the playground, and raising their hands high in the classroom. In other words… kids who will win at life!

OPEN ROLE & SCHEDULE

We are looking for coaches with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids within the KidStrong age range
KidStrong Head Coach would focus on coaching children on the brain, physical, and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum
The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind the KidStrong curriculum
Set schedules for the coaching staff
Assess and evaluate the center's coaches' performances and execution
Our classes run weekdays 9 am -11 am and evenings until 7 pm.
On weekends we start at 8 AM and run through lunchtime.
Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on studio needs.
Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through birthday party coaching hours.
Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITESE

The Head Coach will lead and develop their coaching team in addition to coaching required amount of classes
Deliver predesigned workouts to parents and students (max 15 students per class) ages walking through 11 years old
Energize and motivate members throughout the 45 minute class
Build KidStrong attendance while retaining and building relationships with current members
Ensure safety of participants
Maintenance and cleaning of center equipment and floor
Work with Center Director on low usage and parent concerns and question calls
Schedule and management for all coaches
Teach a minimum of 20 classes per week
Attend and/or present at monthly staff meeting
Assist Center Director, when needed, with KidStrong center growth

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
Previous experience in leadership and management is preferred but not required
Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age group is preferred
Experience talking to and educating adults (parents)
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
Ability to multi-task and stay organized
CPR certified
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Self-starter who just gets a job done

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS

Working days: Weekday morning and evenings, weekend mornings.
Hours per week 25-40
Typical start time: 8am
Typical end time: 7pm

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per class + Admin pay
